Frequently Asked Questions
What is FND?

FND is a weekly Friday night dinner held during term-time and open to any Jewish undergraduate or postgraduate student.

How is FND working during COVID-19 times?

Since Oct 2021, we have resumed in-person FNDs in Central London! For just £5 you can enjoy a full Friday night dinner, including challah, wine, chicken soup (vegan options available), main course and dessert at a Central London location.

How do I book?

Follow the 'BOOK NOW' link on the website or find a list of current events on our home page. The meals are heavily subsidised at only £5. Book before 4pm on Wednesday so we can order the right amount of food!

Where does FND take place?

FND is held at multiple locations around Central London. You'll receive an email by Friday morning telling you where it will take place. It either starts at 7.00pm or 7:30pm depending on Shabbat times.

What's for dinner?

The dinner includes a delicious three-course catered kosher meal. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies and we will make every effort to accommodate them.

Who comes to FND?

There are many Jewish students living across London and you can meet them all at FND! We usually see around 60 to 80 students, but our big weeks draw over 100 students from UK, USA and Europe, to name a few. Students of all denominations and nationalities come each week to enjoy the FND atmosphere. It’s a fantastic way to meet other students and we love seeing new faces each week.

Who do I ask for more information?
